Week One

Our Heroines had their first foray into Boston this past Thursday, where they met the lovely ladies of Stitch House in Dorchester. In their first sewing class they made adorable totes, took each others measurements (Bust, Waist, Hips), and generally had a smashingly swell time.

After devouring 2 large cheese pizzas at the Avenue Grill, our Heroines returned to Stitch House for an afternoon of Knitting and yarn adoration. Solana began her red and gray curvaceous cowl*, Rachelle began her green luscious leg-warmers, and Julia began her blue shag-tastic Shawl (oh behave**).

On Friday, after some bus troubles, particularly for Rachelle ;), our Heroines returned to Stitch House for Solana and Julia's first voyage into crocheting. Solana and Julia spent the hour learning basic stitches and discussing how to go about their personal crocheting goals.

Later, Ms. Anissa, the owner of Stitch House, led Solana and Julia on a fabric excursion.
Meanwhile, Rachelle remained at Stitch House knitting away happily.

At the end of the day Solana and Julia returned to Stitch House victorious with their fabrics for their dresses.

It was all in all very successful "week" for our Heroines.
